What's the tallest stand?
WorkEZ Executive is the tallest with a max height of 22" measured from the floor to the base of the panel
What stand can hold the most weight?
All WorkEZ products support the same max load & can safely hold items less than 13llbs.
How do I adjust WorkEZ?
To adjust WorkEZ to your preferred height and angle, depress the joint button and rotate the leg to the desired angle. Specific setup "how-to" can be found in the user manual, Video Section, and Downloads Section of our website.
My laptop gets hot. Which stand is best for cooling?
All WorkEZ models are made from aluminum. Aluminum dissipates heat, so every model will keep computers cool and prevent overheating. If you're seriously concerned about overheating, you can opt for a USB-powered cooling fan on WorkEZ Executive or WorkEZ Cool.
Does WorkEZ slide on a desk?
WorkEZ is made of aluminum, which can slide on smooth surfaces. Don't worry – you can pick up some adhesive, non-skid pads from your local hardware store. Stick them to the legs and your WorkEZ will be skid-free!
Will WorkEZ work with desktop monitors?
All 3 WorkEZ Stands are rated to the same weight capacity (13 lbs). In general, they can hold modern, flat screen monitors just fine. Check the photos on WorkEZ Professional and WorkEZ Executive to see them in action with a desktop monitor. WorkEZ offers an excellent way to adjust your monitor height to improve your posture while sitting or standing. Plus the open-spaced bottom frees up desk space and helps you de-clutter your work area. The stands are most stable at lower height settings and we encourage you to test compatibility with your monitor at lower heights first.
I use a laptop in bed or on a couch … which model is best?
All models work; but we recommend WorkEZ Professional or WorkEZ Executive.
They both have 3 leg segments and are more stable over your lap on a couch or in bed.

What is the "USB Fan & Hub Option"?
Selecting the USB Fan & Hub option adds 2 cooling fans and 3 USB ports to the stand. The cooling fans help prevent laptops from overheating. The 3 USB ports provide additional outlets that power accessories.
How does the cooling fan work? Do I need batteries?
A cord (included) connects the fan unit into a USB outlet on your computer. The fans are powered by your laptop's USB Outlet. There is an on/off switch on the fan & 3 USB Ports so you can power accessories right through the stand.

WorkEZ Executive supports loads under 13lbs. In general, it holds most laptops and lightweight desktop monitors just fine.
What's the difference between WorkEZ Executive and the other models?

Executive is wider, taller and a little heavier than WorkEZ Professional. It extends 3" taller, has a 2" wider panel, and has an additional ~4" of internal width between the legs.

Is the WorkEZ Mouse Pad included with the WorkEZ Keyboard Tray?
No. WorkEZ Keyboard Tray comes with its own, unique mouse pad.
The screw holding the mouse pad is getting loose. What should I do?
Aluminum is a soft metal. Frequent screwing and unscrewing can expand the hole. You can try a different hole or pick up a nut from your local hardware store to ensure a tight fit every time!

Will it hold my keyboard?
We designed the WorkEZ Keyboard Tray to safely hold most keyboards.
The panel is ~18" left-to-right. In general, it’s ok if your keyboard hangs off an inch or two (this is about the width of 1 key)

Does a Mouse Pad come with it?
Yes! We designed a mouse pad specifically to optimize performance of the WorkEZ Keyboard Tray. The mouse pad connects directly to the panel, letting you hold your mouse at about the same elevation as your keyboard. The mouse pad works on the right & left sides, is removable & adjustable so your mouse is always level.
Note that this mouse pad is different than the WorkEZ Mouse Pad.
Is the mouse pad the same as the WorkEZ Mouse Pad?
NO.
WorkEZ Keyboard Tray’s mouse pad connects to the panel (so your mouse is at about the same elevation as your keyboard).
The WorkEZ Mouse Pad clamps to the leg of any WorkEZ Stand (so your mouse is about 1" below the panel)
Is there wrist support?
Most likely, depending on the width of your keyboard. The panel is about 18" (w) x11" (d). Most keyboards are <6" deep, so there is ~5" of wrist support on the aluminum panel.
Will it wobble?
Most likely no. The WorkEZ Keyboard Tray is one of our best selling products and in general, it works our really well for most people. There will be an increased chance of shaking if you’re a heavy-handed typist who likes to bang keyboard keys.
WorkEZ Standing Desk
Will it hold my desktop monitor?
WorkEZ Standing Desk holds laptops and lightweight monitors that weigh less than 13lbs. For reference, a modern flat screen 19" desktop monitor weighs about 6-8lbs.
It does not work with iMacs, all-in-one computers and heavy monitors. If you have a heavy monitor, consider LIFT.
What is the depth (front-to-back)?
In general, the max depth you need is 21.5", but varies according to how close you like your keyboard & monitor.
The legs on the monitor stand are 11.5" long & the legs on the keyboard tray are ~10" long. The Keyboard Tray does "tuck" under the monitor stand to make things more compact.

I have 2 monitors! Will it hold them?
WorkEZ Standing Desk is designed to hold one laptop or desktop monitor. If you use 2 monitors, consider:

In general, people 6’2"-6’5" can comfortably use the WorkEZ Standing Desk

Will Wobble Stool work on my wood floor, carpet, tile, etc.?
Wobble Stool’s base has a rubber non-skid coating that grips most floors such as wood, tile and carpet.
How do I assemble the Wobble Stool?
Visit the Wobble Stool webpage& watch the how-to assembly video. In short:
- Insert the thick end of the metal pole into the base & press down firmly.
- Screw the plastic collar onto the seat bottom & insert the 2 screws. Easiest if the stool is upside down, resting on the cushion.
- Align the seat with the top of the metal pole & press down firmly.
There are screws, but no guide holes … is this wrong?
Correct! The screws will bite into the plastic seat bottom forming a tight connection. Some assembly tips:
- Turn the seat upside down (so it’s resting on the cushion)
- Ensure that the plastic collar is screwed snugly against the seat bottom
- Angle the screws towards the seat bottom.
How do I adjust the seat height?
Wobble Stool works just like a common office chair. Press any one of the three under-seat buttons to raise the seat. Depress a button and sit on the seat or apply downward pressure to the seat to lower it.
It won’t adjust. What should I do?
Panic … no, please don’t.
Proper adjustment requires a tight connection between the 3 main parts of the stool

If you’ve assembled the stool correctly and all pieces are aligned properly, grasp the metal pole and press down firmly into the base. Then press down firmly on the seat. Once things are snug, sit on the seat and gently bounce up and down to make sure the connection is tight.
This additional pressure should tighten the connections and allow for a very simple operation (i.e. other than pushing a button, no force is required to raise the seat)
How do I disassemble Wobble Stool?
Disassembly is essentially the reverse of assembly. The 3 main parts (seat, metal pole, base) are held together with friction and require some force to separate. This procedure is best done seated in a safe environment like on the floor:
- Extend Wobble Stool to max height
- Remove the seat by using your hands pull the seat towards you while simultaneously using your feet to push the base away.
- Pull the metal pole out of the base

Can you make a custom desktop?
Our standard bamboo desktops measure ~60x32x0.75". For a nominal charge, we can easily cut them to a smaller size.

How do I attach the desktop to the frame?
We include #6, ½" self-tapping wood screws that you can use to attach the desktop to the frame. You’re welcome to use any screw that you like and we suggest ½" long screws.
Can I attach my own desktop to the frame?
Most likely! Our steel frame has guide holes where you can securely screw almost any desktop to the frame. For glass desktops, we suggest using an adhesive to secure the desktop to the frame.

What’s Uncaged Ergonomics’ return policy?
In general, we have a 30-day, "no-questions asked" return window starting from the day you receive our products. Return unwanted item(s) to us for a refund of product cost. The customer is welcome to use any postal carrier and is responsible for return shipping costs.

We’re a small business (not monsters), stand behind our products and are happy to help with any questions you have.
Who pays return shipping?
Uncaged Ergonomics pays all or greatly subsidizes outbound shipping charges and we ask that customers cover any return shipping costs.
It’s not our intention for customers to pay high return freight costs. If you feel that return shipping costs levied by your carrier are expensive, contact us to see if we can develop a more affordable solution. We may be able to issue a prepaid return shipping label and deduct the cost from your refund amount.
When will I be refunded?
We work to refund orders as soon as possible after they have been received. It is necessary for us to manually inspect every return (we often receive partial returns or products from other companies erroneously sent to our warehouse). As a small business we try to check returns and process refunds about once per week. In general refunds are initiated within 14 days of receiving your return.
